Network Membership

The EIRIS Conflict Risk Network is a community of institutional investors and partner organisations dedicated to addressing the challenges of conflict risk in responsible investment.

We are a non-profit platform committed to understanding the investment implications of conflict and developing solutions that overcome barriers to action.

What is the Network:

CRN’s membership currently consists of investors that subscribe to its Sudan Company Report. These include asset management firms, public pension funds, and universities. The decision to expand membership is a response to feedback from investors regarding the data and resource challenges they face in assessing their investment portfolios’ exposure to conflict.

Along with our partner organisations, our team empowers investors to integrate and engage with portfolio companies about conflict risk by:

  • Collaborating to address the data challenges on corporate links and activities in conflict-affected areas to identify portfolio exposure to conflict-related risks.
  • Supporting peer-to-peer knowledge development and capacity building of investor members to elevate their understanding of how conflict interacts and affects their investments.
  • Working with investor members to develop guidance and identify best practices in conflict risk integration and management.

Who can join the Network?

Membership is open to institutional investors, asset management firms, asset owner groups, pension funds, and civil society or international organisations working with investors on business and human rights, and conflict.
